Eksplorasi Growth Mindset dan Self-Regulated Learning pada Kalangan Mahasiswa Magang: Perspektif Penelitian dan Implikasi untuk Pengembangan Mahasiswa

Abstract

Program magang merupakan salah satu strategi penting yang bertujuan memperkuat keterampilan praktis dan meningkatkan kompetensi profesional mahasiswa dalam mempersiapkan diri untuk menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja nyata. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan growth mindset dan self-regulated learning pada mahasiswa magang. Penelitian sebelumnya telah membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara growth mindset dan self-regulated learning pada mahasiswa. Namun penelitian yang membahas secara khusus hubungan growth mindset dan self-regulated learning pada mahasiswa magang masih cukup terbatas. Penelitian ini melibatkan 416 mahasiswa sarjana yang aktif melakukan program magang. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa kedua item alat ukur tersebut valid dan reliabel dengan reliabilitas variabel growth mindset yaitu α = .973 dan variabel self-regulated learning α = .990. Hasil uji normalitas yang dilakukan menggunakan One Sample-Kolmogorov, menunjukkan nilai p < .001. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hipotesis diterima yang menghasilkan hubungan positif pada tingkat sedang antara growth mindset dan self-regulated learning r(414) = .591, p > .001. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar penelitian selanjutnya mempertimbangkan untuk menambahkan variabel lain seperti goal orientation, academic resilience atau academic achievement.
